Virginia KidWind Challenge

In the 2022 Virginia KidWind Challenge held at James Madison University, student teams designed, constructed, and tested wind turbines in celebration of renewable energy. Congratulations to the winners! Kitty Hawk Wind is a proud partner in the Virginia KidWind Challenge.
Virginia Beach Neptune Festival Boardwalk Weekend

The Kitty Hawk Wind team was excited to support the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival's 47th Boardwalk Weekend. The Neptune Festival provides fundraising opportunities for non-profit, civic, and charitable organizations while making a multimillion-dollar economic impact locally each year.
Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament

Kitty Hawk Wind proudly honors the local sportfishing tradition as a sponsor of the 18th Annual Virginia Beach Billfish Tournament out of Southside Marina in Virginia Beach. Proceeds support youth charities & The Billfish Foundation, which works to improve the health of oceans worldwide. The Kitty Hawk Wind team had a blast meeting anglers from the 81 participating teams.
